Rozy Rana is the Managing Director of Dormans Coffee Ltd, the largest coffee Roaster and Purveyor in East Africa. She has had a successful corporate career spanning in excess of 20 years.
Prior to her current position, Rozy was the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Human Resources at C. Dorman Limited.
Rozy Rana holds a Bachelor of Education degree (Hons) from Kenyatta University and an MBA from the Strathmore Business School.
Rozy is a member of Toastmasters International, a worldwide organization devoted to the development of Public Speaking and Leadership Skills. In 2010, Rozy emerged the winner of the Toastmasters International Taped Speech Contest. This inspired her to write her book, “12 Lessons from a World Champion”. She recently attained recognition as a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
Rozy set up a consultancy, Frankly Speaking Limited to help empower individuals through facilitating training in various topics extending from Public speaking, Presentations Skills, Customer Service, Marketing and Leadership. She is a columnist for Marketing Africa and writes articles on these topics.
Rozy is a registered trainer for the Rhetoric Module of the Female Future Program which was launched by the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) in partnership with the Norwegian Enterprise Confederation. She played a pivotal role in customizing the content for this module to the Kenyan context.
